4 year college or 2 year college then to 4 year college?

Hi, my guidance councilor want me to go to a 2 year community college then to a 4 year college but I just want to got to a 4 year college because I believe 2 extra year of college is a waste of time because life is just to short and if I take 2 extra years of college I will finish at the age of 24 but I would like to start my business soon because I would love to managed my business for a long time like I said life is too short. And my business is to open a recording studio.

4 year college or 2 year college then to 4 year college?
what your guidance counselor means is 2 years at community college then transfer to 4yr school but only do 2 yrs there to graduate. total = 4yrs. good luck

Reply:I think that you misunderstood. The 2 years of comm. college transfer to the 4 year college. So you only go to the college at the university for 2 years. Make sure that the 2 years at comm. college do transfer. He is right. The classes are smaller, tuition is cheaper, you get more attention.
Reply:I think what your guidance counselor is trying to tell you is to go to a 2 year college first, and then transfer over to a 4 year college to complete the remaining 2 years you would need to get a B.A.

Going to a community college would be cheaper and may be beneficial because the class sizes are smaller than your 4 year colleges. If you don't have the best grades and/or test scores going to a community college would help since they would look at your college transcripts and not your high school transcripts when you transfer to the 4 year college.
