Applying to college?

i am a senior in hs and i feel that it is too late to apply to a college now. All the deadlines have passed. Although i regret waiting this long, there is still a chance for me to apply for spring of 2009 or fall of next year as well.i feel like the only one in my grade who hasn't applied to a college yet and that just freaks me out!!all i can do now is look for college around my area(i live in nj but next to the philadelphia border) in which deadlines have not passed. i have really upset myself

and my parents...all i can say is that college just freaks me out and i feel like a failure. my question is:

will it be bad if apply for college in spring of 2009?

are there colleges out there where deadlines have not passed and i can still apply for fall of 2008?

and can anybody give insight on what i should do now that i have waited to long, and no colleges are excepting applications? or what should i do period now that ive acted so stupid?

Applying to college?
Don't panic. There's still plenty of schools accepting applications for next autumn. It's only the schools that get vastly more applications than they have empty slots that are closed by now. For that matter, there's no problem with taking six months or a year off and applying for 2009.

Assuming you'd really rather go to college this coming autumn, take a look at these schools. They're all great schools, but not as in such demand as some. I've cited only the schools in your area, but if you would like to go further, look around on this web page. For that matter, buy the associated book; it will reassure you. Ignore any listed deadlines; just go ahead and apply to any schools that appeal to you.

Good luck. Relax, you'll be fine.
Reply:As far as I know, colleges are sending their acceptances out now and aren't taking applications. You may be able to find a school that has rolling admissions, but there aren't very many of those. Your best option is to apply for spring of '09, and try and take some classes at a community college this fall.
