College/ university!! im confuse!!! Im Hispanic :)?
hi friend!

for me college or state colleges are small unit institution, offerring limted number of courses. they been monitored by commission on higher education for theirr curriculum. while universities are large unit of institution where they are independent charter institution and can offer courses without the control or monitoring of CHED. universties have higher standards than that of colleges. hope u gain something from my answer. if u hate PE, then u should learn to love it because its one of the subjects u need to be taken. aside from ur own tribal language, u should learn english because its our universal language, u need it badly. today ROTC is no longer compulsory to college students, it was been changed by community service. Com. service is fun. u have to try it! u feel happy ones u have serve ur community.
Reply:A college can either be a Music college, Arts %26amp; Science college, Engineering college, Law College, Business College, etc. They specialize in a particular type of education.

A university is a collection of colleges. Report It

Reply:Community service isn't compulsory to get into college. Colleges value uniqueness more than anything else. They tend to frown on community service if you are only doing it to get into college. Report It

Reply:A university is for advanced learning (four plus years) where a collage is 2 years or just getting a certificate. You need a HS diploma to get into collage (not PE unless your school requires it to graduate).

They are both collages really but that is the jist of it.
Reply:The only difference between colleges and universities is that universities are large and usually do more than 4 years and offer more than bachelor's degress whereas colleges are privatly funded, smaller instituions that only offer bachelors degrees.

If you fall into the idea that work loads for colleges are less than universities and universities have stricter standards than you (and your source) would be wrong.

Example:most universities don't require more than one language but a lot of colleges do...and community service is just highly suggested to help you get into graduate school..but most people do it at some point anyway. Also, don't neccesarily have to take PE
