Info about college?

Im in the tenth grade and Im still clueless on the type of career I want when Im out of highschool. All my parents and school are talking about is college and my future. I definitly plan on going to college! But, Im kinda clueless. Can you tell me some basic info about college? Some information about the degrees (bachelors and masters) and what they are. When I got my PSAT scores back, I also got this paper saying I was elligible for this AP course program, some kind of college based course that will help me prepare. Anyone know anything about this? I get very good grades at school, but yet I dont really know much about college and my future. What are the majors and stuff like that that can be available? What are majors? What kind of different colleges are there? I know a community college around where I live, and a university. Whats the difference? Im so stressed out, I feel like I will never understand this stuff. Please tell me everything you know. :)

Info about college?
relax im a freshman in college and definately remeber all that stuff, but i didnt know what i was doing till this spring when i graduated,

relax, take it all in stride

study for sat/act

and dont slack off during jr/senior years because they do count

maybe you should go to community college untill you know for real what you want to study because theres no use in wasting all that money on university if youre just "finding yourself"

and definately get your parents involved

it helps alot
Reply:I wouldnt worry too much as a sophmore about college. Take your time, go online and just search for colleges in your area (or in an area that you are interested in) and just browse their websites to get a feel for how their academic program is as well as their campus and social activities. Once you find a few that look interesting, take your junior year to visit them and seriously look at what interests you. Once you pick one, apply, and get it, you will have plenty of time to just take some general ed classes and get a feel for what you wanna do with your life.
