College question?

Hey, I'm a junior in high school and I am getting ready to make my decisions for college. I want to know if its true that if your parents are making good money that you can get into college easier. Like for example, my dad gets 120,000 salary a year as a pharmacist and makes a little more because he owns a liquor store. I don't have the best grades, a 3.4 weighted gpa with a 1440/2400 SAT my first time.

I want to be able to get into Rutgers New Brusnwick College of Pharmacy, or any other big colleges in the East. I just want to know if its a better chance that if your parents are making good money that colleges really just want your money sometimes?

College question?
1) good money only gives you for not requesting for money or financial aid.

2) big schools? you are kidding me,

Virginia U

NYU

Syracuse U

Harvard U

Yale U

Connecticut U

are all great schools on the N. E.

3) nope, you mean if your parents pay schools for donation? uh...i have no idea about that but one thing though, i heard if you pay 1000000 for Harvard, you are automatically in..but thats just a rumors..no real evidences showing that...
Reply:No, that's not true at all unless you are expecting your father to make a very generous donation (bribe) to a school. It makes it harder for YOU to afford college because you will not receive much (if any) federal money.
Reply:No, that's not true. The only thing your parents' salaries affect is the amount of financial aid you receive.
