College Picks.. ?

I am 17 years old and am a junior in high school. I have a few college picks, but would you recommend them? My current GPA is a 3.89 but that is with an honors class and two AP classes. Some of my favorite colleges are Boston U, Boston College, Northeastern U, Emerson U or Brown U. Which of these colleges look at the rigor of the classes more than the actual GPA?

Also, my SAT scores are unavailable, so you will have to work with just my GPA... I am really sorry!

College Picks.. ?
BC or Brown are the best of the ones you listed. They for-sure look at rigor. Your GPA is really good too. Make sure you're involved in sports.
Reply:Come down south to LSU. We will teach you about Mardi Gras and Big Time football. We have a Saint Patty's day parade and oh yeah sometimes we go to class.

A new and easy to use search engine, elefoo.com is a great tool for finding colleges. It is

comprehensive and unbiased, however it is also still in development.

Think of elefoo as a gateway to college websites, for now at least.

The future, on the other hand, has a lot of potential. And yes, you'll

be able to find everything plus more about every college in the

country there! Check it out and visit frequently to see how things are

developing!
Reply:USC...fight on. jk i don't even go there. have you thought about Northwestern U, in chicago?
Reply:You would get a better and more accurate response calling the college admissions offices and speaking with their admissions advisors.
Reply:Not so much as what your GPA is, but what do you want to major in?

Business - University of Michigan

Music - Druillard

Law - Harvard or Northern Illinois University

I think we need to know your major before we go recommending schools.
Reply:SAT is way more important than GPA. Also extracurricular activities... Villanova is an awesome school, check that out,.
Reply:How about Tufts, Brandeis, or Williams?

Brown U is great. Boston U, Boston College and Northeastern are good. I don't know Emerson.

How about Hampshire or U Mass at Amherst, although that one is huge.
Reply:You should try first calling the colleges. With your GPA I'm sure many college's will choose you. Especially since you have honor's classes. So first call them and they will give you an idea of what they expect in the colleges you have listed.
Reply:For law school, major in English. In that regard, Brown is strong. It's an Ivy. The second best on that list is Boston College. The others are good.
Reply:let a boy to pick up ya!
