im going next year to college, and i have a few friends that go to college and they told me that "you wont really meet anyone in college unless you already know them" and the college im going to, no one i know goes there, im going to be surrounded by strangers...so it that true? that i wont meet anyone new? so i wont have any friends or bfs in college?! how do you meet people then?

I moved city to go to college, I had only met one person in my whole college before.
you meet people where you live, on your course, and if you get a job.
you meet people through people.
your friends are losers if they never made any new friends at college

Reply:They're lying. I went to a different city to go to college (though I did know some people there already) but I did meet quite a lot of people. A few of them are some of my really good friends now.
