I Got accepted to Pace University, but don't know really much about it I also got accepted to Queens college, Brooklyn College and some community which im not going to. Which College should I go to Pace is private and 50 grand a year, Queens and Brooklyn college is almost fully paid for and there both 4 year colleges but Pace has more respect.
What should i do?????
HELP college?
My first reaction would be Queens and Brooklyn College, if you don't have the $50k/yr....that is $200k in 4 years.
If you can get financial aid to cover a major portion, go for Pace.
Rule of thumb is to not go over your expected earnings in first year with college loans. So if your first job will earn $50k, that should be max you take in loans over the 4 years - $12.5k/year.
You don't have to pay loans back in the first year, but you also don't want them hanging on forever impacting your credit/debt situation.
Reply:queens or brooklyn. once you start paying those 50 g's a month (which is ridiculous) you'll know why.
Reply:Definitely, definitely go to Queens or Brooklyn.
Respect doesn't matter, at least as it will apply to you. (And I've never even heard of Pace, if it makes any difference.) It's better to save money and excel in your studies than to spent all your study time working to pay off the loads of tuition (or worse ending up with hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans).
Seriously, go where the money is (or in this case isn't). It doesn't really matter what other people think of your university... it matters what you make people think of YOU. So work hard and play hard, and you'll do very well.
