Hi, people! Throughout my college career (it has been few semesters) I shopped for books at my college bookstore. Lately though, I am beginning to get more and more irritated at the college bookstore. Not only do they rip me off, they not always have the books available there(so I have to wait for days for books to get to the bookstore). And I am not even talking about huge lines there.
Nearly all of my friends shop for books online and are encouraging me to do the same, but I am little worried about this whole online shopping thing. I have never shopped online and I am not sure if it's safe to do so.
Which method do you think is the best for shopping for college textbooks?
College bookstore vs buying books online?
its A LOT cheaper to buy your books online but buy them from a secure sight
amazon.com is great i just bought one of my books there for $10 but at my school its $88 (crazy).
also another good one is Cheggs.com you pay to rent the book and at the end of the semester you send the book back.
Reply:Try using www.ceressnowbooks.com....pret... good discounts. Report It
Reply:Online big time.
I would get my list of books and borrow them out of the library for as long as I could. Most people never thought of that when I told them.
Your college bookstore has no reason to give you a good price on a book, so avoid them if at all possible.
