I went to college for a year at a junior college, then took a year off after failing out of college. now I am ready to go back and start over clean. I am moving with my boyfriend to conroe tx to start another junior college and I am hoping to get into a nursing program by jan 2009. I am going to be taking all the pre courses before I can get into the nursing program.
I am very nervous about starting college again since I had such a bad first time. I am hoping that with moving to a new college this will help me and I am ready to get focused.
I have a problem with people, I guess Im 'scared to be around people'. I get really nervous with school and the people, being that I don't no anybody. I no people with tell me that "everybody is a little scared since they don't no anybody." however I am OVERLY SCARED. how can I not be sooo nervous.
Im starting college again and im very nervous. help?
It took me 26 years to get my Bachelors degree. The key for me was not to overextend myself. I mean start taking perhaps one class in your first semester then two the next and so on. Find out how many you can take without stressing out and also couple a hard class with a easy class if possible. As far as making friends, it will come, be patient. Like I mentioned take it slow at first.
Reply:you might suffer from anxiety . . . you should see a doctor. they can find a treatment plan for you depending on how severe it is.
